1956 – Neptune Benson was founded by Junius and Raymond Gertz as a residential and small commercial pool company
1978 – Neptune Benson shifts focus to filtration systems for institutional pools (> 250K gallons)
2004 – Neptune Benson introduces the Defender regenerative media filter (RMF)
2011 – Acquires Lawson Aquatics, a premier manufacturer of main drain and rim-flow system components
2012 – Acquires ETS-UV, a leader in the development and manufacture of ultraviolet disinfection systems for municipal, industrial and aquatic applications
2013 – Acquires BRI Metal Works Inc., a leading manufacturer of custom plate fabrication, carbon and stainless steel products
2015 – Acquires ProStrainer product line from ProFlo Inc.; expands presence in the recreational market with its unique design and selling features
2015 – Neptune acquires Sonitec, expanding our filtration offering into industrial process markets
2016 – Neptune Benson is acquired by Evoqua Water Technologies, the global leader in water solutions
