Syncrude Aquatic Centre @ MacDonald Island

 

The Syncrude Aquatic Centre was a 4.3 million litre addition to the existing 30 year old MacDonald Island Park as part of an expansion that opened in September 2010.

The Aquatic Centre features a 54 metre, 10 lane Olympic sized pool with two movable bulkheads. Two spring board driving pools (2x1 metre & 1x3 metre), a 4 lane, warm-water training pool, an adult whirlpool, a famly whirlpool and an indoor family spray park with two giant waterslides, two child-size waterslides, a lazy river, a great big dumping bucket, and over 20 spray & water features.
